Our lil Man is now officially a Toddler!!

I will re-cap Michael's birthday in another post, but this is about his 1 year appointment.

Weight: 20.7 lbs (25th percentile)
Height: 30.75 inches (80th percentil)

Still like his dad, tall and lean.
He says "ma-ma, mom, dadadada, gidgey, what's that, ooooooo, hi, bye."
Trys to put his own socks and shoes on.
Waves.
Took his first steps when we were in San Diego, and now goes about 6 steps (frankenstein syle) before he falls down. He is getting there.
He drinks Vitamin D milk, and has had no problem with the transition.
Thinks it is hilarious to climb on the couch, then just roll off it onto the floor.
Enjoys attention and making people laugh.
Got and gave his first kiss at his birthday party. It was quite heartwarming to see how gentle and sweet our lil guy is!
Still likes Handy Manny.
LOVES FINDING NEMO
Makes truck/car sounds when he pushes his toys around.
Likes to try anything Im eating, and likes it all!
Still attached to his pacifier when he wants to sleep (better than a thumb :)

Today at his appointment, he got 3 shots, and an evaluation from the P.A.
Dr. says he is beyond a 15 month old with his words, movement, etc. This is great news- we have all known that he was a lil genius :) Dr. said that Michael should be scared of him, but Michael just kept saying "Hi" and waving at the dr. Dr. was blown away when I said that Michael whistles sometimes. He was also very impressed with Michael's strength. He read me a list of things that 15 month olds should be doing, and Michael has already been doing this for a few months now!

Not to toot my own horn, but OUR SON ROCKS!

Grandma B has taught him how to blow kisses, and he is almost there, right now- he puts his hand up to his mouth, licks it, then sends it your way! Its pretty cute. Grandma B is also teaching him how to snap his fingers, it is HILARIOUS. Michael has always studied people and imitated what they do. HE IS GREAT.
